New artwork for Magestone

As some of you may know, I am collaborating with Mette Aumala on a reasoned-fantasy version of Dungeons and Dragons, called Magestone. Largely it involves converting existing DnD monsters when we can, but there is also room for original species, such as this one.

My idea was to have a large, heavy Oviraptorosaur forebird inhabiting jungle settings, that resembles a mix of Mihirung and Cassowarry, with some niche-based elements of gorillas, namely destructive feeding. The keen eyed older fans of mine may spot that this is actually a reworking of an old concept from the now defunct "Speculative Dinosaur Project".

This is the result, what we will probably call the Gorillavian or Rillawarry, if a better name does not present itself.  The rest of the details will have to wait until we manage to agree on a proper description.

This species is not fully ironed out yet, but it will most probably end up in Magestone along with a lot of other original monsters we have co-created.
