Poseidon2910 - Birds, Synapsids and Mammals

 Here are the birds, Synapsids and mammals of this odd, seeded world. This is the final entry in this series, I am proud of these concepts, despite the failure of the overall project.

A beaver-like descendant of Kayentatherium, that clambers amongst kelp forests, feeding on the ever-present kelp.

A giant, manatee-like descendant of Kayentatherium, which propels itself underwater with a laterally undulating tail.

A seal-like descendant of Castorocauda.

A sea-lion-like descendant of Castorocauda.

A large platypus, that probes the sea-bed in search of worms and other small invertebrates.

A streamlined, dugong-like descendant of Thalassocnus, which feeds on sea-grass in temperate waters.

A giant, long-necked descendant of Thalassocnus, which swims using its broad flipper-like limbs.

A pony-sized carnivorous Whippomorph, which scavenges and forages along coastlines, as well as in shallow near shore waters.

A seal-shaped, limb-propelled Archaeocete swimmer.

A giant, walrus-like descendant of Makaracetus.

A large Arcaheocete that feeds by dredging the seafloor for small invertebrates.

A tusked Archaeocete that dives to the sea-bed in order to forage for various marine invertebrates.

A mid-sized Archaocete which converges upon beaked whales.

A giant serpentine Arcaheocete that converges on beaked whales.

A suction-feeding stem-Odontocete which has whiskers, and feeds on seafloor invertebrates.

A suction-feeding stem-Odontocete with whiskers and tusks, that feeds on seafloor invertebrates.
A horse-sized, temperate dwelling Anoplothere, a terrestrial inhabitant of one particular island chain.

A dog-sized marine Desman, which swims by sculling its laterally flattened tail. It feeds on various crustaceans and gastropods.

A merbenig-like creature descended from Adapiform primates, a social creature that forages on the seafloor close to the coast.

A dugong-like marine Rodent, from tropical seagrass meadows.

A giant, fish-eating, albatross-shaped bat.

A small wingless, flightless terrestrial penguin, feeding on insects and small vertebrates. An inhabitant of a southern island-chain.

An emu-sized, flightless sea-goose, which feeds on seaweed and kelp.

A giant, flightless rail, which feeds mainly on coarse vegetation, on one particular island chain.
